While in Texas, earlier this summer, I recorded a video interview with Vicky Smith of Kirkus Reviews. It was especially fun, because Vicky was genuinely enthusiastic about Astronaut Academy and really seemed interested in knowing what my thoughts were behind it. I talk a lot about the quirky language, eclectic cast and emotional enthusiasm! The video includes lots of art from the book and I even wore a tie for the occasion!

Roman is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts and worked as a comics editor for the groundbreaking Nickelodeon Magazine from 1998 to 2009.
