APE Photos 2013
I had a fantastic time at the Alternative Press Expo this year!
This kid dressed as the 11th Doctor was nice enough to recommend Astronaut Academy to another kid checking it out.
This was APE’s final year at the beautiful Concourse Exhibition Center (supposedly it’s getting torn down to make room for condos?).

An Open Book
I recently got to team up with An Open Book, a fantastic non-profit organization to visit Burroughs Education Campus in Washington, DC. They took some really wonderful photos!

Small Press Expo + Cupcake Helicopter
Small Press Expo is this weekend (September 14 and 15th) and is totally one of my favorite comic shows of all time! It’s the place where John Green and I created Teen Boat! and it continually provides much fuel to the creative fires.
